Your journey begins with a one-on-one conversation with a coach. We'll learn about your goals, training history, and what matters most to you. This is your chance to see the gym, ask questions, and find out if BearFitness is the right fit. No pressure, no obligation — just a real conversation about your health and fitness.
Ready to experience a workout? Your first group class is on us. You'll train alongside our community with a coach guiding you through every movement. We'll scale and modify everything to match your current ability so you can get a feel for what training at BearFitness is really like.
Before jumping into regular classes, every new member goes through our Foundations program. These one-on-one sessions with a coach teach you the core movements, gym equipment, and training principles you'll use every day. Foundations is designed to:
• Build your confidence with barbell and bodyweight movements
• Teach proper form and technique so you train safely from day one
• Introduce you to our programming style and class structure
• Give your coach a chance to understand your strengths and areas to develop
After Foundations, your first 90 days are all about integration. During this period, our coaches keep a closer eye on your progress, check in regularly, and help you settle into a consistent routine. The on-ramp includes:
• Regular check-ins with your coach to track progress and adjust as needed
• Guidance on class scheduling to build a sustainable training habit
• Support with nutrition and recovery basics
• A gradual introduction to the full range of class offerings
By the end of your on-ramp, you'll feel like a confident, capable member of our community — not just someone who goes to a gym.
